RECIPE: The perfect sweet potato fries

Yeah I know… a recipe for sweet potato fries? Isn’t that really simple? It is quite simply actually, although it took me some time to figure out how to make the perfect sweet potato fries. I always make them in the oven and not in the deep fryer, as it’s the healthier alternative. So let’s come straight to the recipe (yes, this time even with photos :-P).

RECIPE: The perfect sweet potato fries

for approx. 2 persons

Ingredients & Directions:

You need three big sweet potatos

Peel and cut them into stripes

Put them on a baking sheet and sprinkle them with olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary and spices you like. It’s really important that you use high quality ingredients and/or fresh herbs.

Bake them for about 20 – 25 minutes at 200°C. They won’t be completely crispy as they are not fried in oil (but extremely delicious though) .I also made a cashew-basil dip (recipe here) and fried egg rice.

They also make a perfect to-go snack :-).
